An Apex trade copier mirrors one Apex Trader Funding account onto the others you hold. Apex evals and Performance Accounts run on Tradovate and Rithmic, both of which Trading Floor connects natively: trade the leader once and every Apex account follows, each with its own multiplier, contract cap and a drawdown guardian set against its trailing threshold.
Apex’s help centre allows copying across Performance Accounts you own, under your personal and business names, with a hard cap of 20 active PA accounts counted across the whole household and any companies you control — exceeding it is a payout-eligibility and account-closure matter. All accounts must trade the same direction (no hedging across accounts or correlated products), and a PA may only ever be traded by the person named on it: copying to or from anyone else’s account is prohibited. Apex also notes that Tradovate’s built-in Group Trade is enabled for users with more than one Tradovate account.
Source: How Many Paid/Funded Accounts Am I Allowed to Have? (Apex help centre), read October 1, 2026. Firms change rules by plan and promo with no notice — check the current version of that page before you mirror, and see our rules by firm for the rest.
Tradovate-based accounts connect with Tradovate’s own OAuth flow: you sign in on Tradovate’s page, approve access, and come back. Trading Floor never sees the password — it holds a token you can revoke from Tradovate at any time — and every account under that login (an Apex eval, a MyFundedFutures account, a personal account) appears on the floor at once. The connection takes about 90 seconds. NinjaTrader brokerage accounts run on Tradovate’s infrastructure and connect the same way.
Rithmic-based accounts connect with the Rithmic user, password and system name your firm issued (the same ones you type into R|Trader or your front-end), plus the gateway closest to you. Credentials are stored encrypted and the engine holds the R|API session server-side, so nothing on your machine has to stay running. If you trade from Quantower, ATAS or Sierra Chart on a Rithmic account, keep trading there: the copier works at the broker level, so every fill copies with no plugin in your platform.
The engine mirrors the leader’s net position per contract onto each follower, scaled by that follower’s multiplier and clamped by its max-contracts cap. Entries, scale-ins, partial exits, flattens and reversals all land on every follower, sized for that account. Mirrored stop and target legs go out as one broker-side OCO pair on Tradovate; on TopstepX, Rithmic and Volumetrica they are two orders, and the copier cancels one when it sees the other fill. A limit entry is mirrored as a limit and given a few seconds to fill at your price before the engine backstops it, and your first live session runs under Safe Start: one contract per follower until you lift it or set that account’s cap.
Every copy prints two numbers in your Copy Log: the engine’s own share (detect the fill, size each follower, submit) and the broker’s wire time, attributed separately so a slow gateway is never disguised as engine speed — or vice versa. The platform-wide median copy, the engine’s p95 and the share of copies above the disclosed 200ms cutoff are published live from real production orders (54ms median copy, fill to follower). Copy delay is slippage handed to every follower on every entry, so we show the number instead of describing it.
Apex’s drawdown trails your account’s high-water mark, on intraday plans with unrealized peaks included. Set the drawdown guardian a cushion above that line: reaching the cushion auto-flattens the account and stops copying to it (checked every few seconds, so leave room). The guardian uses the same model as the Apex drawdown calculator, and it acts per account: one PA hitting its line never takes the floor down. Followers always hold the leader’s side — a reverse-copy setup would break Apex’s same-direction rule, so the copier never offers one — and per-instrument contract caps are enforced before an order fires.
The copiers traders ask about for Apex floors, with the facts their own pages showed on October 1, 2026. Apex’s 20-PA cap fits inside every plan here, so the differences are where the engine runs, what a 20-account floor costs, and whether the speed claim is checkable.

Starter is $25/month for up to 20 accounts across two broker logins; Pro is $50/month for up to 120 accounts across unlimited logins. Yearly billing is ten months’ price. There are no per-account fees and nothing to host. Between evals you pause instead of cancelling — settings, journal, payout tracker and streaks wait for you. The first month is free, so the honest way to evaluate it is to run one real session and read your own Copy Log. Plans in plain text: /pricing.md.
Yes. Apex accounts run on Tradovate and Rithmic, and Trading Floor connects both natively — trade one leader and every connected Apex account mirrors it with per-account sizing, every copy timed and the median published live at tradingfloor.me/latency.
Apex’s help centre caps active Performance Accounts at 20 across your household and companies, so 20 is the practical ceiling; Starter ($25/mo) runs up to 20 accounts and Pro ($50/mo) up to 120 across any mix of firms. Verify the current cap on Apex’s page before scaling.
Apex allows copying across Performance Accounts you personally own, same direction only, no hedging, with the PA traded exclusively by the person named on it; copying anyone else is prohibited. Read the current version of Apex’s account-limits and prohibited-activities pages before you mirror.
Yes. Apply the Apex preset, set the drawdown guardian a cushion above your trailing threshold, and Trading Floor auto-flattens that account and stops copying to it at that line, checked every few seconds (not every tick). Daily-loss guardians and per-instrument contract caps work the same way.
Tradovate-based Apex accounts connect with Tradovate’s OAuth flow (we never see the password); Rithmic-based accounts connect with your Rithmic user, password and system, stored encrypted. Every account under a login appears at once.
The guardian flattens that account and stops copying to it; the rest of the floor keeps running. Guardians are per account by design.
OAuth connect in ~90 seconds. Guardians armed before your first copy. 7-day free trial.
