TL;DR: Different species. Replikanto copies inside NinjaTrader 8 on your machines, sold as a lifetime license. Trading Floor copies between broker APIs in the cloud, sold as a subscription with the latency of every order published. NT8-only floors: Replikanto. Multi-firm floors on Tradovate/TopstepX/Rithmic/Volumetrica: Trading Floor.
| Trading Floor | Replikanto | |
|---|---|---|
| Architecture | Cloud engine; browser + iOS are just windows onto it | NinjaTrader 8 add-on — NT8 desktop (8.1.7+) must be running on every machine involved |
| Price | $25/mo (20 accounts) · $50/mo (120) · first month free · pause anytime | One-time license $0–$399 (per machine, lifetime or 1-year) + credits for internet copies between machines · 7-day trial |
| Brokers / platforms | Tradovate, NinjaTrader brokerage, TopstepX, Rithmic, Volumetrica, TradingView signals — no NT8 required | Anything NT8 connects to, from inside NT8 |
| Latency | Measured per order, published live at /latency | No published per-order latency figures we could find; machine-to-machine copies traverse your machines' links |
| Risk controls | Drawdown / daily-loss / profit-target guardians that auto-flatten; per-account caps; Safe Start | Follower Guard, quantity modes, market-only mode |
| Uptime model | Close the laptop; the floor keeps copying | Your machines (or your VPS bill) are the uptime |
Replikanto inherits everything about your NT8 environment — its connections, your PC's uptime, your network between machines. That's control, and it's also surface area. Trading Floor holds the brokers' APIs directly server-side; your browser is a viewport. Neither is "wrong" — they optimize for different traders. The question is whether your accounts live in NT8 at all: TopstepX and Volumetrica accounts don't, and prop platforms keep drifting away from desktop stacks.
Credit where due: if your whole world is NinjaTrader 8, Replikanto is a mature, deeply NT-native copier — ATM strategy copying, half a dozen quantity modes, stealth mode — and its one-time lifetime license ($0–$399 plus credits for machine-to-machine copies) beats any subscription on price if you run it for years on hardware you already keep on. If that's your setup and you never trade outside NT8, it's a fine tool and you should keep it.
Floors spanning firms and platforms; traders who don't want uptime to be their job; anyone who wants receipts — per-order latency in the log and platform aggregates published live.
Not directly comparable: Replikanto's latency depends on your machines and network and isn't published; Trading Floor's engine share is measured on every production order and published live (median ~42ms) at tradingfloor.me/latency.
TopstepX and Volumetrica accounts don't run inside NinjaTrader 8, so an NT8 add-on can't reach them natively. Trading Floor connects both directly.
